Full course description
Social and emotional learning (SEL) is the process through which students and educators obtain and effectively apply the knowledge, viewpoint, and skills necessary to understand and manage emotions. SEL helps us set and achieve positive goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain positive relationships, and make responsible decisions.
This course will help participants promote the inter-relationships between classrooms, schools, families, and communities. Participants will be more aware of social emotional learning and how to incorporate these competencies into their classrooms.
